Strategically introducing their growing body of learner-centered education research to audiences, building field credibility, and opening doors for partnership. This work is strengthening the legitimacy and reach of their research portfolio to support Education Reimagined's long-term agenda.

Coalition for Spiritual and Public Leadership

Earned media strategy and execution for this grassroots faith coalition fighting for human rights. Placements and relationships development across the New York Times, Rachel Maddow Show, Reuters, Axios, and more. Building sustained media relationships so the organization becomes a go-to source for stories on faith-based organizing and immigration. Converting visibility into donations, membership growth, and coalition expansion.

Brightpoint

Developed a strategic communications and earned media plan, translating complex Head Start research into clear, compelling messages that reached policymakers and the public. This work shifted the narrative to position Head Start as a prevention strategy, equipped partners with advocacy resources, and aimed to expand eligibility and sustain funding for the program.

University of Chicago Crime Lab and Education Lab

Built and led the organization's first public affairs team. Led organizational communications strategy, reputation management, and external positioning to advance research-driven solutions in public safety and education. Orchestrated a full brand transformation that doubled web traffic, and created a digital campaign that reached nearly 140,000 viewers. Amplified a White House event with Vice President Kamala Harris into a national visibility moment for community violence prevention.

My Story

Designed and executed a personal communications campaign on economic insecurity and the shifting job market. I pitched myself as the story and connected personal experience to a larger structural narrative about workforce instability. The campaign spanned being a featured source in The Wall Street Journal, authoring an op-ed in the Chicago Sun-Times, and a live radio interview on WBEZ Chicago's In the Loop. It was an exercise of my craft.
